V&A Capital (“V&A”) is pleased to announce that its portfolio company, SinterMet LLC, (“SinterMet”) has acquired Leadar Rolls, Inc (“Leadar” or the “Company”).
Founded in 1993 and based in Lima, OH, Leadar is a precision manufacturer of industrial rolls. “Leadar is a great company with a strong reputation for providing its customers with value-added products and services. We are excited about this complementary add-on which helps expand SinterMet’s footprint, product offering and customer base. Furthermore, the combined companies will be able to leverage each other’s technical knowledge while taking advantage of cross-selling, manufacturing and cost synergies,”said Nicolò Vergani, Managing Partner of V&A.
“Leadar is an ideal fit and we are excited to bring it into the SinteMet family,” said Bill Posey, CEO of SinterMet. “The addition of Leadar positions SinterMet as a leading provider of tungsten carbide, composite and iron rolls and related products to a broad range of end-markets and geographies and creates a strong platform to expand into other product lines and end-markets.”
